Styling and Costume!
Our group decided to put together a mood board of what we want our outfits to look like. We have decided to go with a beach themed outfit chocie which enables us to put together diferent neuatral clothes to fit in with the theme.
For when we are filming at the beach, we are going to have our actresses wearing denim shorts and over sized neutral jumpers. This will mean that it will suit the overall style of the film, which is 'vintage'. In addition to this, we have decided to have our actors wearing denim jeans and a normal t-shirt which should be a neutral colour to tie in with the theme.
When shooting the horse scene we styled Anna to every point. Our talented Fashion designer Lilly Hughes picked out the outfits from a wide range of possibilities due to all our clothes that we consider to be boho to be available. We considered the colours wanting them to be nutral and match the overall theme of nature throughout the video. When it came to accessories we decided on a gold band and long necalace to compliment the overall look paring it with brown and black pixie boots in order for the overall look to be completed.

These sexy beach ways by 'makeupbycamila' demonstrates what the wonders of a hair tong can create by teaching us a certain technique in order to create this look.
The smokey eye by 'MakeupbyEvon' is a much more bold and dramatic look by using gold glitter on the eye lids. However, due to most of the attention being focussed on the eyes the rest of the makeup is nutral therefore we were inspired by this look.
These Beautiful curls by Alex Centomo teaches us how to curl your hair with straiteners by swisting away from the face. This totorial ispired us due to how natual and effortless the finished look was.
Horse Scene Styling
This is one of the outfits in the official music video, Vance Joy- Riptide. This is what has influnced us to style our outfits with the 'boho' range as it is at a similar location. She is wearing an oversized shirt and denim shorts, which we will look into to style for our actors when filming for the video.

Given that we started to film at the begining of fall we realised and had to consider that the weather was no longer going to be on our side. In addition to this we had to research 'How to: Boho Chic Style' by URBANOcom this demonstrated style ideas that were suitable for all weather types. There-for we were able to keep the boho theme during the cruel winter. In addition to this the cast was comfortable whilst filming in such harsh conditions. We tuck into account big jumpers and furs whilst including paterns and gypsy jewellery to emphahsised on the look. We considered including hats however it was unpractical for filming.
This soft brown smokey eye by Little Kiva shows subtel yet a natual glamarous look. In this we were tought how to blend and what products had the most pigment in order for the makeup to appear well on camera.
This natual smokey eye by Teni Panosian inspired us due to it being appropriate for any of our costumes. Given that the eyeshadows used had a shimer we discovered that it would compliment the the over all lighting as it would reflect off the eyes.
These relaxed waves by Alexandrea Garza connote a casual boho style. We whatch her technique as to how she achieved this look so that we could recreate it for our music video.
Here is Anna's completely style. Using our research, we came up with this casual, natural boho look. As you can see we took into consideration from what we had learnt from the fashion, hair and makeup tutorials. In addition to this we included the natual smokey eye and curly beach waves as well as the layering of clothes and earthtone colours.
